Our Story

Following our foundation in 1973, NMDC Energy established a large fabrication yard in Saadiyaat and a skilled offshore construction division. We went on to launch our offshore operations in 1978. Over time, we would regularly expand our service offering to ensure we could continually address the challenges faced by the energy sector.

NMDC Energy is now part of NMDC Group, a collection of forward thinking companies dedicated to shaping the future and generating value for the sectors we operate in. We work in the UAE and across the globe, solving complex problems for leading businesses with cutting-edge EPC solutions.

Thanks to the vision of the Late President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan, NMDC Energy was established in 1973 to serve the Oil & Gas Sector of UAE and internationally.

Today, NMDC Energy is firmly established as a key industry player with world-class Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) capabilities. It has grown from a small fabricator to an International EPC company with over 1400 Engineers in 4 Engineering Centres, owner of the Largest Fabrication Yard and Largest Offshore Construction Fleet Owner Operator in the MENA region, through continuous investment in its capabilities and continues to do so.

We highly value the relationships we have built with National Oil Companies (NOCs), Operating Companies (OPCOs), International Oil Companies (IOCs) and are proud of our project track record built on a delivering quality, safety and customer satisfaction.
